Abstract:
The Surface Water Buffers depict buffer zones around surface waters for each town in New Hampshire. The data were generated by buffering surface water features from the New Hampshire Hydrography Dataset (NHHD) by the buffer size. For perennial only buffers the folllowing surface water (perennial streams and waterbodies) were used as input features to the process: Flowlines (FCODE = 33600, 33601, 33400, 46006), Waterbodies (FCODE = 39004, 39009, 43613, 43615), and Area features (FCODE = 33600, 36400, 43100, 44500, 46006). For perennial/intermittent buffers the following surface water (perennial/intermittent streams and waterbodies) were used: Flowlines (FCODE = 33600, 33601, 33400, 46003, 46006), Waterbodies (FCODE = 39004, 39009, 43613, 43615), and Area features (FCODE = 33600, 36400, 43100, 44500, 46006). The resulting data set provides both visual and tabular summaries of the data by town.
